What they did to it is a performance tune, which is what I've been asking people on this forum about for some time. Using readily available software packages and a dyno, the V can be tuned to significantly increase its horsepower and torque. This is because GM does a "conservative" factory tune that is not designed to maximize performance but instead focuses on factors such as ride, comfort and fuel econony. Tuning includes maximizing the performance characteristics of many, many factors including such things as air/fuel mixture, ignition timing, engine temperature and transmission shift points. In general, a properly performed tune will increase hp output by at least 10%.
Bob, 500+ HP in your V that sounds good to me:thumbs :thumbs :thumbsJust north of Bowling Green and a days drive. I've contacted them to see if they could fit me in after we leave Bowling Green.
What do you think Hans, want to drive home to California with 500+ HP?

But think about one thing, is this tuning company known as a excellent one??? because I know from so many small tuners here in germany they don`t do a good job and lots of cars starting have some troubles after the tuning.
How about put you an LS7 (427 cu inch) with 505 HP in your V:lol
Hans
you sure do have enough HP in your V.You might be right Hans,
I floored it yesteday and did nothing but spin my tires..............that's embarrasing. I think I have enough HP.
