Those switches are known to fail. The material they are made of dozens grades over time. They are easy to check on 04/05 with an ohm meter to check the are working. On 06/09 the have a cover over them that hides them and makes it much harder to change. I bought the last new ones and all were bad. They has dozens grades in the box on the shelf. I have a much better replacement that will last the life of the car if anyone needs this switch. No were near the 399.00 they sell for on ebay. [email protected].
XLR top issue
Just wanted to try and help fellow XLR owners with top issues.i have a 2004 XLR the top was not working correctly here's what it was doing hit the down button and the windows would go down the front tornue would go up, the trunk lid would go up, the roof would unlock and it ends there.after looking around discovered that the trunk lid switch by the driver's side tail light was out of the holder enough where it wasn't making contact.so the rest of the lowering sequence would not continue because the switch wasn't making contact this telling the computer the trunk lid was down.repositioned the switch and used some JB weld to secure the switch and Wala works like it should up and down.drove me crazy for a few days but figured it out! wanted to share Incase anyone else was having the same problem.very easy fix.

Yes I do. All the parts except the pump and working on that one .
I noticed your conversation. Let me know if you find a place that have the pump. I have a 2006 XLR (top issue). I found 3 of the parts I need from gmpartsoutlet.Yes I do. All the parts except the pump and working on that one .
