I wonder how many V's were sold in that period. Maybe the V buyer is reaching a new group that would not of bought an XLR. If so the increase should be able to continue. We'll have to watch.

No V for me you see.
It has to last and it’s to fast for me you see.

I'm happy with the XLR, it's a beautiful car,
Give it the gas and starts to snarl.

When the sun is shining I push the button and it starts whining
The top comes down removing my frown.

All in the day of an XLR, not just your ordinary car!

Bill had him a birthday and would be happy to be
the owner of an XLR-V

But his XLR is special you see
So Bill has doesn't pay the gas guzzler fee

Kent, the slow sales of the US automakers got to do alot with the rising gasolin-prices. Here in Germany the Diesel`s in the luxury car class like S-class, 7 series or A8 makes already about 70% of there sales. Diesel is cheaper here than gasolin and the fuel economy is a lot better.
Till now they don`t offer an SL as a diesel but it will be soon. GM plans to put diesel-engines in there CTS and STS models too, for the European market. The new BLS is available with a 150 hp d engine and the fuel economy is about 35 mpg. My daughter loves my XLR very very much but I think I buy her this new BLS, she test-drove and likes it.

Just some little news from Germany
