Hans is correct. The Rendezvous is quickly approaching. Anyone who would like to attend, please contact me for registration and hotel info. This will be the one and only " First " Rendezvous.
Thanks Jim. today is "Fathers Day" in Germany (it`s a holiday) and I`ve got from my wife a new, very small digital camera, especially to use it for the "XLR Rondezvous" isn`t that great?

See ya soon

Hans, I'm planning on you keeping Bob distracted while I swap wheels :reddevil
Kent, sure you can count on me but we have to be carefully because Bob has a big gun:glol and if he don`t get us with his gun he`ll do it this way:boxing

See you from today in two more weeks at the XLR (andV) welcome party in ABQ.

Hans, I saw a black XLR doing the Devils Highway in eastern AZ when I was running it on my bike Saturday. 100 miles of switchbacks, the owner had an evil grin. :thumbs Looked so good I went back Sunday with the XLR and did it myself. If you and Bob have time you should work that strip into your trip. Highway 191 (formerly 666) between Morenci and Alpine Arizona.

Kent, we`ll see, I`m sure Bob is reading this post too!

How about a recetrack, a couple laps there would get an evil grin out of me:reddevil :lol
I`ve seen your wide tailpipe in the gallery, do you have the Lund-exhaust on yours or is it a big tip?

Looking forward seeing you and your steel-blue XLR soon.

Oh,Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaans, did Kent say, "when he is passing us?". Now, I may let Kent pass us, but I know you won't. Last one to Alba Turkey buys the first round.
NO, you can't leave now!
Bob
ps I've always liked Lunds one piece exhaust.

Hans,

It is the Lund exhaust, not just the Chip Foose tip. I'll step on it when I'm passing you guys on I-40 Saturday so you can hear the outcome

OK, that's a good idea. :glol :glol :glol
Ya know, we could try to meet somewhere on I-40. Take my number and we will try to call if you give us yours. I figure we will leave Vegas about 10 am and will probably hit Flagstaff around noon. 949-306-3637. When we hit Unser Blvd, all bets are off, I'm pretty good in the last 10 miles Bob

So if the last one there buys the first round does that mean you are planning to accidenlty to forget Hans at the last gas stop :glol :cheers

Kent can pass us when your radar-detector shows alert:lol I never heard the Lund-exhaust-system before, I`m very interrested on the sound of these. I know the Borla and Corsa but also like to hear the XLR V sound (motor and exhaust-stock). I`ve seen the V`s but never heard one running. (IAA Frankurt 9/05)

Hey, I don`t give Bob a chance to forget me at the gas-station, I´ll stay in his V.
:cool

Hans,
If I'm driving when we are comint down the hill into Albq. there is no way he will beat us to the hotel. He can let his nav system take him in, but I know Albq. like the back of my hand.
WE WIN! in our 1909 XLR-V

lol....but Bob, even if you know Albuquerque very well I`ll guess Kent is there first - he got a 2005 XLR compared to our 1909 XLR V. But maybe if we lowering this 1909 V we might have a chance:jester

Hasta la downhill albq:lol
