Hello Bob, I know where you talking about but I still love my "dream machine".
As you know, I`ve had little problems but all in all it`s a wonderfull car.

Did you read the numbers of the STS V - 0-60 4.8/0-100 11.9 and these numbers was in the new Motor Trend, the absolutely Cadillac unfriendliest magazin.

If we go by this numbers, the car you`ll get in march 06 will have even better numbers, how about 0-60 in 4.5 / 0-100 in 10.3 how does that sound???

The numbers are, according to a Cadillac rep, 0 to 60 in 4.1 to 4.3. That's a little higher than the Z06 at 3.8 and Dodge Viper at 4.0 in Motor Trend. Guess we will all know soon enough. They didn't want to release those numbers because they where afraid the high dollor market wouldn't accept a car that fast.

no, I don`t think the XLR V will be as fast as the ZO6 is. I hope it get`s about the same numbers than the regular C6, that would be OK.
Don`t forget the XLR V has about 20 hp less than the STS V.

Had my numbers mixed up, Z06 @ 3.8 and Viper @ 4.0 in 60. I think the V could play with the C6 and come out on top,..............if..........the V has an aggresive driving mode like the Corvette. I was told it would have this.

I think Hans is the only one that is interested in top end, we don't have many places to run these baby's up, especially within the limits of the law. Myself, I want speed from light to light.
