I think he means it`s not "suck a great car" - such a great car!!!
I can say it`s a good car on the market!
Hello Bob, I know where you talking about but I still love my "dream machine".standby said:Hans,
I think he got it right after all the trouble I've had lately. Instead of "suck a great car, I think he meant a suck of a car.

As you know, I`ve had little problems but all in all it`s a wonderfull car.
Did you read the numbers of the STS V - 0-60 4.8/0-100 11.9 and these numbers was in the new Motor Trend, the absolutely Cadillac unfriendliest magazin.
If we go by this numbers, the car you`ll get in march 06 will have even better numbers, how about 0-60 in 4.5 / 0-100 in 10.3 how does that sound???
Believe it or not "sick" in certain ethnicity's street lexicon means "very cool". :skep e.g. - that opposite thing - "bad" in a certain context means good, "hot" and "cool" are synonyms.1_XLR said:well yes i tink there should be bidder tiers on the car and more of a flashyer rim aswaell but the car is is still sick.
Hello Bob,standby said:Hans,
The numbers are, according to a Cadillac rep, 0 to 60 in 4.1 to 4.3. That's better than the Z06 and Dodge Viper in Motor Trend. Guess we will all know soon enough. They didn't want to release those numbers because they where afraid the high dollor market wouldn't accept a car that fast.
harrysxlr said:Hello Bob,
no, I don`t think the XLR V will be as fast as the ZO6 is. I hope it get`s about the same numbers than the regular C6, that would be OK.
Don`t forget the XLR V has about 20 hp less than the STS V.
The V will have it Bob and a little faster than the C6 would be fine :yesnodstandby said:Had my numbers mixed up, Z06 @ 3.8 and Viper @ 4.0 in 60. I think the V could play with the C6 and come out on top,..............if..........the V has an aggresive driving mode like the Corvette. I was told it would have this.

But how about top speed? the Vette is tested with 180 mph???????
Hi Bob,standby said:I think Hans is the only one that is interested in top end, we don't have many places to run these baby's up, especially within the limits of the law. Myself, I want speed from light to light.
harrysxlr said:Hi Bob,
I guess you are right but isn`t it terrible that most of US-Drivers don`t know what a XLR or say Corvette or an STS is able to do.
The XLR and the Vette, the faster you`ll drive them the better the roadfeeling gets. On this cars it doesn`t matter if you go 90 120 or 150 mph (or faster
Bob, I think the 4.1 - 4.3 isn`t right, I would say if it does it in 4.5 that`s OK.
Thanks for your 2 Mails.
