Ok guys--

I want to trade in my leased XLR for an XLR-V, but I am insisting on a zingana wood sterring wheel for the XLR-V. Allan as tried to help me with this so I can buy the car from him, but do you have any suggestions on who can customize this or if anybody knows anybody at GM-Cadillac who can tell me where Cadillac gets their steering wheels made. I have photos of the steering wheel that Cadillac used in their initial production of the car. Car magazines and Cadillac customer service have not been helpful. I realize that many of you prefer the all leather wheel, but this zingana wood wheel is a deal breaker!!!

Anyone have any advice at all?

just get over it and buy the V!!:glol

after a few miles....I forgot the wood wheel ever existed.
I felt the ACC was a deal breaker and I would love to still have it, but there is soooo much more to be impressed with on the V that it really dosen't matter anymore.

Otherwise....An option may be to change out the rest of the wood in the V to match the standard XLR wheel

Great advise Mike. I have enough trouble handling the V and wouldn't want a slippery wood wheel thrown into the mix.

Wood wheel options

Any idea on how much it would cost to change the wood out of the interior of the car? I know it sounds crazy, but I'm having a mental block with this wood wheel. I'm calling all over the country to see if someone can aftermarket this steering wheel. I have photos from Cadillac of the zingana wood wheel that never went into production. Any other options?
