window won't go up?

When I open the doors my windows retract the quarter inch but when I close the doors the window doesn't go up the quarter inch Does anyone know what would cause this? What solution is there?

I have tried starting car and restarting car but when you close the door the window use to index back up

arty When all else fails read the manual. On page 2-16 it tells you how to reset the express up and down feature this restored the indexing feature too.

Hi, I never had it on my XLR but I would try it again, maybe it`s just a one time happening.

Indexing

I have noted that the indexing of the drivers window lowers when you open the door, but when you close it, it satys down. Howevere, when you start the car, the window raises up again.

I thought this was the way it was supposed to work - always does that for me.

Is this what you were referring to?

Hi, no the window goes up when you close the door!!!! on mine!!!!
I don`t need to start the car to get the window up.
