My XLR has a little more on than yours and I don`t take it out of my garage when snow is on the road, beside I´m on a longer trip and during this it`s start snowing. I have my other cars by bad waether conditions to drive and so do you, right?

I like your V grill. I would order one but my car (black car) has the front grill painted black. I like that look too. Yes I have my winter car a 2005 Ford Five Hundred which is a tank in the winter. Goes through the snow well.

Upstate: I may get a lot of flack on this but this is my 2 cents worth...

It is my opinion "& some others on this site also" that this site is dying. It has been dying since last year because of just a few people. These people are driving most of us away.
They have taken it over by always attacking each other over one thing or the other.
Most of us don't want to hear it "read it" any more. It was cute at first but it has gotten old. Fast...
They seem to have a lot of knowledge about cars but they butt heads way too much about the LITTLE things for most of us.
Some are reading EACH word to see if they can use it to attack the other.

Let's face it spelling and grammar are out the window most of the time here but that's OK too. That's what made this site so great before. We could just talk.
We JUST want to talk... I now use spell check and reread what I write three time and still miss things but hoping no one jumps now my throat if I ask the wrong thing or tell you all what I read or someone told me about this car.

We all come here because we love our cars for the most part!!!! We want to talk about them. Find out different things about them. Find out where to buy different things for them, how to customize them without damaging the car etc.
There will ALWAYS be a car that goes faster, stops faster, turns faster, has more or better bells and whistles. That's how the car companys stay in business.

If we don't like something on the car we say so. I have in the past. We are hoping we can find a way to fix it or maybe just maybe the Cadillac people will be reading it and will look into it without telling us but getting it fixed none the less.

Also if we are having a problem with something most of us will ask about it here first because this car is so new most of the techs don't know that much about it yet. We have to help them sometimes.

We had some people talking about getting people together to show off their cars and have fun with them. Road rallies, going to the Bowling Green plant for a plant tour, photo ops., etc.
I think only one together in Cal. has happened so far and one is still planed for this spring/summer but some are afraid to plan these now and some are afraid to GO because of what is going on in this forum. They are afraid of what might happen if ALL these people were to come together at one of the events.

Now I think you should stick to your guns IF you think you are right but to go on and on and on about something is wrong "I am talking months here" . Let it go!
We each have our idea of what is right or wrong. Even if you are right let it go after one or two times of trying to get your point across. You may NEVER make the other guy see it your way.

Move ON!!! Talk about something else, make this site great again..

Hi Blaise, what should I say???? As you know I´m a German and english is not my native language but I know I`ve made so many mistakes by my writing and still everybody knows what I have talked about.
Most people on this forum are "great guys and gals" and I really get so many response it`s almost unbelievable for me.

Your post was worth a lot more to me than 2 cents, more like a million bucks.
I have offered my help on this site to many individuals and have received a lot of information that I needed, It's my nature to want to help, some information is second hand and when it gets passed on, some folks here want to kill the messenger. Sometimes we (I) aren't so accurate with our (MY) information, but we shouldn't be badgered because we make a slip or use the wrong WORD or terminology.
In order for me to stop attacking the attackers, I had to put three people on my ignore list as of yesterday. I hope in some small way this will help to get this forum back to what it was. I'm guilty of doing what you describe only because I will only tolerate so much harassment from someone, but as I said, this has ended as of yesterday. I'm only making a fool out of myself by attacking back.

Well, 38 - I left Bob off the list just so I can keep an eye on him.

I just started a similar board for our local residential community/homeowners association. If I witness anything similar to what we've seen here in the past, they'd both be disabled.

I'm not taking sides here. In fact, when I see the flames, I skip to the next post so I don't really know who started it or baited or whatever.
