It's been at a bunch of auto shows. If you have any coming up in your area that is the best bet.

I'm not sure of the final release date. It can't be far away though as I've already seen a pre-production version on the streets here in GP.

I Drove It

Last summer (August 2002), a friend of mine who works at the GM Milford Proving Ground, brought one home overnight. My wife and I drove it to town and through the local ice cream hangout. This was a total of only three miles. We didn't stop. We just made a circle in the lot and headed back home. What fun to see the way people were going crazy and pointing. The ride was firm, but softer than the C5.

I heard it should be at Dealers starting Mid June 2003
That would be sweet. I might put on my best suit, Zanio up the Vette and pretend I can afford one just so I can drive it:reddevil Troy, you know all about doing that I bet:jester

Last Sunday, a GM engineer had a black one in the parking lot. I got out there as quick as I could and he was just leaving to take a couple of young ladies for a ride. I did manage to get him to cycle the top a couple of times. I couldn't believe my eyes. Things fold in and over and out until it finally pulls the trunk closed to finish the job. It was awesome. The gentleman said that a total of 16 check valves are utilized to cycle the top.

My Goodness. You guys have your minds in an area other than on the vehicle, haven't you? I was telling you how impressed I was with the way the top worked and you were concentrating on the ladies. I guess I'm not much of a communicator, but I agree that the car has "good pickup."
