Hi jshaps,
the fastest I´ve had mine was with stock exhaust system 278 kph (172 mph)
with my Corsa exhaust, on since september 289 kph (179 mph)
but don`t forget, I drive the export model, which is not limited.

Only 95 mph

I rarely get out on a long open stretch of highway where I can actually get my XLR up to cruising speed, but I did punch it up to 95 mph when I was traveling north not long ago. That's the fastest I've driven ANY car!

Radar-Laser detector

I have a built-in SR7 Laser-radar detector that built in and hidden from view. Front grill has Laser and Radar and rear licence plate has Radar. The SR7 has saved me of many tickets. When you exceed 100 MPH you can get slambed in jail. 145 mph has been my max speed, just do not have clean open space to push it to its max.

Running a Valentine One Radar system that detects front, side and back, and I'm sorry to say I beat 145 by 2 . MPH east of Albuquerque on the plains. One vehicle on the road and it was a Lexus 430 that gave up at MPH. Hans is still mad at me for not taking it to 155 to see if that's the limit. Maybe I'll buy this to stay out of trouble

The 125 ticket was about $500 15 months ago, worse though is that my insurance Co did not renew :mad

Now, that's the spirit! I can tell you that the new C6's (W/4 speed auto) shift from third to fourth at 155 mph - full throttle run.

Now, that's the spirit! I can tell you that the new C6's (W/4 speed auto) shift from third to fourth at 155 mph - full throttle run.

My C5 with 6 speed I´ve got the 4th gear up to 240 kph (150 mph) and in fifth I´ve toped out 304 kph (188 mph) by speedo!!!!
6th gear I´ve only could use for cruising with about 240 - 260 kph (150 - 160 mph)

I've not reached the top yet, on that run I backed out at 175 due to traffic, however I should have better luck next month when we drive over to Vegas. All I can tell you is the rate of acceleration was surprising even after it shifted.
