I now have the Foose five star wheels on my car. I think I'm going to paint the calipers. My car is black/black, I'm either going with red calipers or black. Any thoughts and what color should I do the XLR letters? Any thoughts or pictures would be most helpful.

Red for sure

Just finished mine in cherry red. there was a V symbol on the caliper that I had painted as well.
If you choose red, silver would look nice on the XLR symbol on the caliper

OK you've sold me bright red it is now for the XLR letters, silver or black? Bob likes silver and I think he's on to something. What do you think?
Hi Bill, if I would do mine, so the calipers would be red and leave the XLR just as it`s there. (the xlr shows in silver right now)

Blaise,
The cherry red calipers where done with high heat paint but I don't know about the V symbol, The detailer that stripes Allen's vehicles was asked to do it as a favor to Scott Allen, as a thank you for forking over 100k. So far those three colors on the V symbol still look good and haven't turned darker from the heat.
Bob:cheers

Nah, the symbol is already on the caliper, one just has to paint it, but thanks for the cudos. I have my sources working on rims and will know sometime next week.

Bob, that V symbol looks great. I would think you will have the only one like that. Hope you gave the painter a nice tip!

Red is the way to go.....Unless the car is Infered like mine, I don't think red will look right and black dosen't do much....any suggestions?

1_XLR, even on your infrared the red calipers would look excellent, believe me!

Just do it like Bob (standby) made his calipers and with the painted V it looks fantastic. The way it looks on his light platinum Veeee it`ll look the same good on black raven or infrared.
