Just wanted to pass along one warning that will come with the XLR's navigation/radio system. The navigation/radio manual says that aftermarket tinting can interfere with reception of GPS signals. Therefore any aftermarket tinting should be avoided.
I assume this is because the metallic particles in modern tint are probably just the right distance apart to interfere with the GPS L-Band signals. That is just my guess, though.
Since the XM Radio antenna will also be inside, I don't know what the effects on that signal would be. I believe the standard factory windows are already somewhat tinted.
Anyway, just wanted to mention this before anyone has to replace a window. BTW, the warning is on page 2-48.
