Alas, you wooden see a wood trimmed wheel in a sports car or race car! I dare say, to much of a chance to slip. I had an 04 with wood and it was nice & classy. and I was sad when I heard no wood trim on the V, but I much prefer the leather for this Gorilla in a Tuxedo and am no longer pining.

Check out this video on youtube, it shows the V with a wooden steering wheel!

If there are some wooden Steering Wheels on ebay, they are not factory "OE" for an XLR-V. That means they would not have the matching African Zingana wood that is standard with the V.

Mr. XLR, is the new wood I recently saw in the '08 XLR called "African Zingana wood"? Unlike the light and dark eucaliptus, it had some black grain to it. I can't remember where I saw it though. Maybe while in BG at Rendezvous. XLR KEN

Allen,

It seems from reading your post you're saying the V has a wooden wheel. I don't think you meant to infer that--right?

Floyd,
I was responding to "Elfred" comment that he has seen them on ebay. Other than the early test cars, Cadillac does not make a wooden wheel for a V. I was saying that if someone saw a wooden wheel offered for the V, that it would not be factory. I have never seen it.
