We talk a lot about the things we can not do to our XLR's because of heat primarily but has anyone tried a super tune up by a speed shop to see what they can do. There are sometimes a lot of ponies waiting to be released. :flag

Yea jack, I'm going to get some more ponies in January, it's called a V.

Leaving on our road trip tomorrow at 5 am to NYC..............Please god don't let me have any problems while on the road. Maybe I can take a reality mechanic from Allen with me in the trunk or on a dolly behind the XLR. Will take as many pics that I can outside Bowling Green on the 9th, before we go in on the tour. Hope this ain't me.

The short answer is buy the V. But, If you are like me there are a lot of things you can do to improve performance. Cold air kit, corsa exhaust, etc. If you want to radically improve your car you CAN supercharge it. While there is no off the shelve kit, there are companies like Fuel, Air, Spark which can do the job for it. However, you will need lots of time, money, and patience.
