I feel your pain, last week on my way to the dealership to have them check out my seat (slight slipping when brake or accererate) I met a dump truck traveling east while I was traveling west. The truck hit a dip in the road and showered me with stone. The estimate is a little or $7000.00, damage: new windshield, chipped both front fenders, drivers door, rear fender, broke both grills, headlights and parking lights. I am having trouble in locating a windshield GM anyone have a source for GM parts. I do not want an after market needs to be a genuine GM.

Don't you hate gravel trucks?

I know this is like closing the gate after the horses have gone, but I put "Invisishield" on the nose of my baby.

There are two types of XLRs. Those that have been caught behind gravel trucks, and those that are going to be caught behind gravel trucks...

Invisishield works great....but you can't put it on the windshield.

Someone said they put invisible on their windshield and if you use your windshield blades and washer a lot, I would think it would take no time at all to mar the invisible. It's just a plastic or sorts. BOO on Trucks

wenmdw - I purchased a small bottle of touch up paint for my Neiman Marcus Ultra Violet at a local dealer. He needed the VIN and he was able to look it up and get it to me the next day. I've yet to use it tho, as it seems upon closer inspection, it's just the clearcoat that has the chip.

I had a similiar chip of my clearcoat and when I had a mar on my bumper fixed, from a valet service, the body and fender guy buffed it out with no problem. Don't use the paint.
