I was at my home in Florida, and ran a search on GM Buy Power. Found 14 unsold XLR-V's, primarily Black, within 25 miles. Then, out of curiousity, I checked my zipcode up north, in Connecticut (near NYC). It gave me a wide search, from just below Philadelphia, to near Boston, and in between. Found 43. Not exactly scarce, especially for a new model, which has been anticipated for so long. I'd buy one in a heartbeat, but not at that price. They are missing the market. It's nearly 20 grand over the new Jag XK (I know the V is faster, but on style points, it's no contest), and there is even a "baby" Aston Martin, that's only a little higher.

I dropped off our '05 for service yesterday... there were 2 black V's where they usually prep cars for delivery, and a grey and a red comming in off a truck new. All in the service area. I didn't even get up to the showroom.

The 2 Black "V"'s aren't sold--yet.

I SAW YOU PULL IN YESTERDAY!! I had my Xenon in there for the light thing (readjusted) and the key fob upgrade.

Ask them (Frank) If you can drive the "V". They chased me down.

It's a hoot!!!

Regards

Wish you would have said Hi!

Doing the light thing too, and had them check a rear-end whine... that it turns out required some parts and work. They still have the car (third day).

I don't know what your personal plans are regarding your 04 But I am having difficulty thinking about trading mine. I just don't see the value. So, I am keeping up with all of the buletins and freeby upgrades to be sure that mine is in tip top condition when the warranty runs out.

There are 9 V's in stock in the Phoenix Metro area. Two months ago there were only 2. Drive out to the Rendevous in NM and stop in Phoenix on the way there or back and pick up a V

:party

Seriously, GM needs to learn not to overproduce product.
