I just wanted to thank everyone who belongs to this forum. I recently became interested in the XLR. I loved the looks and found the test drive enjoyable but I think what really sold me on the vehicle was all of your comments. I began reading the forum last week and found that other than a few minor problems virtually all of you love the vehicle. Anyway you sold me. On Saturday I purchased a new 2005 XLR in Steel Blue/ Shale/ with XM radio. I pick it up this Wednesday. The biggest problem I had was whether to choose the new Steel Blue or go with the flashy Crimson Pearl. I could have used all of you for an opinion poll. I finally chose the Steel Blue because it was so different. Not many cars come in that color. Now that I am an owner you will be hearing much more from me.

Congratulations!! I also picked up a new XLR (2004) this Saturday! Got the Platinum w/shale interior. The color you selected is incredible! The car simply amazing! I traded a 2004 corvette convertible - the C5 can't hold a candle to the ride and luxury of the XLR! My wife has an Escalade ESV and I have an Escalade EXT as my daily ride. Good luck with the new wheels!!! :thumbs
