Handling

Are you kidding? Heck yes I've had it out. To give you an idea. I have a large entrance into my business from the main road out front. I turned that corner at 45 without drifting. I had to get out of the car and check to see if I had driven through some glue. ;) My sister-in-law wanted to go for a ride today I didn't want to go fast on the freeway, (any car can go fast) so on the clover leaf I had her head over in my lap. :thumbs I mean from going around the corner that is.

Well, there are all the holes to mount it. You will need a list of parts that are already listed on this site. The total cost was something like 178.00 Thats the bar the two links at the ends of the bar the bolts and mounting brackets with rubber grommet's. It took me about 1 hour that included lifting the car. I had no directions so I went to the Corsa exhaust web site and they have directions for installing the pipes. But it shows the stabilizer bar in a few of the photos. That was enough for me to turn the bar right side up and mount it. Hope this helps. You can buy it from Bruce thats on this site. He's in service at a Cadillac dealer. But he will be at BG this weekend. Or I can take some pictures for you and you can see how easy it really is. I better get to bed, got to get up and hit the road.

No, just two bolts. You use the bottom bolt that holds the lower control arm, thats what the two nuts are for. It shows that setup in the FSM. There is plenty of bolt left on the lower control arm to place the bushing bracket on with the nut.

stabilizer bar

I ordered my bar kit 2.5 weeks ago from the shop you guys had on line. Does it always take this long for these parts or do you all think so many want them that they are getting harder to obtain? It took 4 weeks to get touch up paint! jim

Yes it takes awhile but, I figure that into the new part. I don`t need to have the part right now. Besides I have two more Cadillacs to drive if one goes down. GM Parts Direct is a chevolet dealer and has to get the part from Cadillac.

They are getting harder to obtain. My neighbor in Cary ordered one for his 2005 and it is currently on backorder. Might suggest to try Corvette part # although it might be a bit stiffer than the Cadillac. (ZO6 bar would be my next upgrade)

Here is a view that Rufcar wanted to see.
Then the connection
and the end link BTW I looked at a 2004 vette that came into my business today that had 2K miles on it. I crawled under the rearend and looked at the stabilizer bar. It was half the sized of mine. Little bitty thing.

Thanks Galen, Like they say a picture's worth not redoing something 3 times over!! The wife driving her car the next 2 days out of town so I plan on doing the bar on fri. My calipers turned out perfect. I used the Eastwoods Black gloss epoxy and I 1st buffed polished the letters then cleaned everything before painting. The exhaust is the next thing im thinking about.
