I just love my XLR but have found a couple of things the engineers forgot. There are short people driving this wonderful machine. Adjustable pedals and articulating head rests. I am 5'3" and have found that I am getting cramps in my leg after driving because the gas pedal is too far away from me. I have the seat set as well as I can, but my head is touching the sun visor, which means I am too close to the air bag. Any suggestions?
The headrest hits me wrong, but I think I found an answer...The Headbone Adjustable Pillow. It hangs over the headrest and looks like a dog bone it is filled with buckwheat.
I really need help with the gas pedal, short of buying bicycle pedal extensions, like you put on your kids bikes.
Thanks Pat

Any chance of having the pedal rods cut and a piece added?
Does anyone else drive the car that cutting the rods it would make it uncomfortable for?

Yes that is the web site.

I was on the GM Accessories web site and found they do have pedal extenders for Buick La Crosse & Rainer, Chev. Malibu, and Cad Escalade. One of the part numbers is 17800718. They were added to the catalog Apr. 18, 2006. Don't know if these can be adapted to the XLR, but I have my dealer looking into them.
