Hi everybody,
you know what? I'm living in France (a little european country between zimbabwe and kiribati islands), and i recently bought a second hand XLR of '04.
I am so glad with this great car but i wonder if they really know something about electronics in Detroit…
I spent a few days with an airbag red alert. i did not give a dam and it just went away as it came.
Then i had a yellow emission control alert again for a few days.
And you know what i did? nothing.
Everything was OK with the engine old gauges so…
And it faded away a few days after.
It occured the same with the stabilitrak alert (yellow one)
And you know what i'm gonna do about it right?
Nothing.
I think that all these sensors are so badly mounted, the components are so cheap, and the engineering is so stupid, that the only thing they can sense is their own disabiility.
So my friends… check yourself the good old gauges, forget these radio schack electronics, and enjoy the fabulous northstar engine
By the way I hope they do not make planes in Detroit…
