Ok-good idea. First of all, put the top down, then of course open the trunk. Pull out all of the black snap-in attachments that hold the gray trunk liner on to the trunk lid being very careful not to touch the trunk close button. (I learned this from experience, or you might want to disconnect the battery while doing this). There are four nuts which need to be taken off the damaged light, and disconnect the wiring at the connection. Pull out the tail light. Reverse the process for putting in the new one and you've probably saved yourself an easy $100. Process takes 30 to 40 minutes.
