Does anyone know how hard it is, or have steps to take to replace the third brake light? I have a cracked lens and just got the replacement, but it looks like there is a lot to tackle just to get the old one out. Can anyone help?

Nevermind - it was easy to do myself. You can delete this thread if you want too.

Ok-good idea. First of all, put the top down, then of course open the trunk. Pull out all of the black snap-in attachments that hold the gray trunk liner on to the trunk lid being very careful not to touch the trunk close button. (I learned this from experience, or you might want to disconnect the battery while doing this). There are four nuts which need to be taken off the damaged light, and disconnect the wiring at the connection. Pull out the tail light. Reverse the process for putting in the new one and you've probably saved yourself an easy $100. Process takes 30 to 40 minutes.

Yup - to get access. With the top up, it's harder to take out the trunk top liner. And you are right - Three of the neighbors had to come over to see what I was doing.
