rear seal leak

When i moved the xlr out the other day i noticed what seemed like a couple drops of oil where the rear pumpkin would be, i have a couple of quads in there as well and kind of blamed it on them because i had worked on them in that area. Now i have read on a couple of posts that owners have had problems with the rear seal leaking, are there alot of people with this problem?? I havent noticed this problem till just lateley but i have been driving the car alot more since summer and nice weather. anyone else having this problem??
