When the Raven black is washed and waxed it looks like new. I do notice though with a little rain or a few days later in the elements it quickly looks like a 5 year old paint job. I have only used the new light weight polishes on it. Not yet done a paste wax coat but it seems to look milky and dull real quickly. Anyone else experience this or is it because I really don't have a long lasting wax finish on it? Am I alone with this?

I guess that`s on all dark colors. Mine is thunder-gray and I think it was a good choice.

I used to use Zaino Bros that I order from the internet and was satisfied with the deep shine and luster is gave my black xlr. The more coats you apply the deeper the shine. On the recommendation of an auto detailer I tried a product called Booty Wax. This is the best product I have ever found for a dark color. The depth of the shine is outstanding and ease of application is great. The finish is very slick and seems to repell dust. I don't know if you can find any. The only place I was able to was at a NAPA store.

Yep. Nonmetallic black. Looks great in the showroon & then for 15 minutes after the sale. Not one of my black cars ever looked good after. Unless you're a glutten for punishment, forget it.
Hi, but the 06 Black Star edition looks excellent when light goes on it, I really love it.
