I can honestly say I have never used my AM/FM tuner, I'm either listening to XM or CD's, however I've never experienced any signal issues with the XM.

We recently drove from Pacifica to Long Beach listening to the same channel - I don't think you can do that with any one FM channel around these parts. :cheers

I'm with you, Mark. Now that we get Fox News and MLB on XM, I have no reason to listen to AM radio. We have a very cool local FM station KSTAR (99.7) for Lake Conroe, so I get coverage of local events there.

Guys, this living on the lake is just the best.

AM? FM? Whassat?

Since I got my XLR in February, I've never listened to AM or FM radio . . . only compact discs and XM radio. I was sick of listening to all of the mindless chatter on the FM stations in the Washington area, and I'm sure it hasn't decreased since February.

My XM radio reception has been just lovely.
