OK I thought there was conversation around racing pedals a couple of weeks back. I remember the poster talking about an individual custom assembling a set for the XLR. I did a search and came up with nothing on this site. Found the below listed site and will let you know what they say about making them for the XLR. They look like top noch products.

Well if anyone is interested we could save 25% on a 5 unit buy. Looks like top shelf quality.

Hi Bill,

Thank you for your e-mail, we appreciate your interest in our products.

No problem to make a set of pedals for your Cadillac XLR.

Pricing would be identical to our Cadillac CTS pedal pricing.

Please click on the following link to see our CTS products:

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=26_165

If you would like to proceed with the order simply order the CTS pedals that
you would like, but specify your XLR during the checkout process when you
are asked to indicate year, make, and model.

We will then match the pedals for your XLR instead of the CTS when we
manufacture your order.

We would be happy to offer a group buy discount of 25% if you can get 5 or
more orders.

(pedal order minimum requires at least a gas and brake pedal)

Please let us know if you require any additional information.

No questions asked moneyback guarantee if you are not satisfied with the fit
or finish.

Are you guys thinking of ordering the dead pedal as well?

For the group purchase, do we have to order the same design or just 5 XLR orders?

5 orders with at least a gas and brake, any design.
I plan to order the dead pedal with the flange....I wish it had a flange up on the left side too.

so are you in? 25% is a nice discount!

Racing Pedal Install

Hello To All,
I worked with Rob Baylor at Ultimate Pedals for this custom install on my XLR. Rob even sent templates by e-mail so I could try the fit. The job is a 1/2 day because of the custom nature. I had to buy longer s/s screws at the hardware store to make the pedals fit right. And the automatic center punch is a must to mark the brake pedal for the holes you drill for the screws. The brake pedal after you take off the black rubber cover is Cast aluminum, I think it is the same as a Vette. :cool Tan Man http://www.lewiestanning.com

Here is the latest, lets start ordering!

Hi Bill,

Sorry for not responding sooner.

How do I get my Discount?

Preferably, if you have a pretty straight forward order, please use our
website.

Specify your XLR and the XLR group buy during the checkout process when you
are asked to indicate year, make, and model.

If you don't mention the XLR group buy you'll get your pedals quickly, but
not discounted.

Also, with the website you won't see the discount automatically, and you
will get a confirmation email pretty quickly. That email will not have the
discount applied to it, DON'T WORRY....You are not charged until the items
are shipped, and the set up of our software cannot compute a discount, it
has to be manually accounted for. So when the items are ready to be shipped,
you will get two more emails. The first email will be from our merchant bank
and will let you know that your card has been charged the discounted price.

The second e-mail will be from UPS Quantum View (for the US orders) with
your order's tracking number.

You can also call us, please try to use our website unless you really hate
internet shopping or you have a custom order, it takes up a lot of manpower
to answer questions/take orders by phone.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Don't settle for "One Size Fits All" pedals.

Have a great day!

Rob Baylor

Now lets place our orders!!!! http://www.ultimatepedals.com/ours.htm

I count 4 but he said we should go ahead and place the orders and once he reaches five he will process them. I suppose if we never hit the mark we could work something out. I'd say we should order and in a week I will find out how many have ordered and how we should proceed.
