Hi JMARC,jmarc said:I have been looking at a satin nickel 2005 XLR at the local Cadillac dealership - being in a small town, they only get in one a year or so. It is an excellent dealer.
I am comtemplating buying it, but don't want the hassle of something always breaking down. Seems like the retractable hardtop especially has its share of problems. This would be my only car.
Am I being overly concerned. Any advice?
see, I´m here in germany and bought a XLR and with every day longer I got this beauty I love it more. I use to drive my cars hard, as you know we don`t have no speed-limit on autobahns and it`s a super-car. I`ve had no problems on my XLR, it runs and runs :thumbs
So, if I had to make a decision I would buy this satin-nickel beauty :yesnod
To look at one at a dealer-ship or to drive and own one is a big difference, you will often get a great smile on your face - believe me!!!!
That`s what I can say
