After we shared the message from Michelle re: Quick Help Needed, we received another email from a new member who is unable to post:

Ed & Sandra-

I have enjoyed the comments and photos that you have shared on the XLR
Forum. We finally got ours a few weeks ago and have some questions that
we would like to be able to post on the forum.

Since signing up the forum lets me sign in but does not allow me to
post. This means that I can only find information that has already been
posted... quite frustrating.

I don't know who can help me with this, I am hoping that you have a
connection that will help. My emails to Troy have not been responded to
and I cannot find any source of information on the forum for this.

Thanks for your help!

Paul
We know that member "427" did a recent post about this type of problem. Seems like it's probably frustrating more than a few people. We don't have any connection with Troy, but it sure would be nice if he addressed this situation. If there's some sort of waiting period before a new member can post, it ought to be publicized.

Can any of you shed any light on this situation?

Best regards,
Ed and Sandra

This is very unfortunate that we may have many new members with the same problems. I see new members joining almost daily, but none participating. My guess is the problem has something to do with the Anti-Spam software Troy installed back in August when we were having a rash of spammers jioining up. I don't have a contact for Troy other than the forum and I don't understand why he has not responded......he had always been very efficient in the past. ......I hope he gets it handled soon

Here's another message from a new member having difficulty posting. We hate to think how much participation is being lost because of this situation.

Happy Holidays Ed and Sandra!
My name is RicK Russo (aka Sunburn) on the XLR Forum. I signed up about a month or so ago and still can't post. Could you pass this on to Troy? I've also sent him an e-mail. I have been an Italian car buff for years but the XLR coaxed me to try an American ride and I'm loving it! I still have my 1974 Maserati Bora in the garage but my 2004 XLR is impressing me more and more every day.

Thanks for helping,
Rick . . . .

More people have emailed me regarding their inability to post. I've sent Troy another email ... But can't PM him because his inbox is over the size limit. This seemz unusual for him ... Hope all is well.
