Hi Rainey,Rainey said:We hope to welcome you to the family soon. Got mine for $72K including Tax and registration. I would still buy it for what you were quoted. After driving my since early November, it's worth every penny. Unless something major goes wrong I will not go to any other roadster especially a Benz unless I could affors the SLR. There's not another car on the market that can give you the same bang for the buck. You could pay $188K for the Benz SL65 and the XLR will still turn more heads amd get more compliments. :thumbs
Kenley said:I paid $75k "out the door" six weeks ago for my '05 (included taxes and all that other stuff). Also included XM radio (I don't know why they call XM radio an option . . . all the cars seem to have it). Depending on what your state taxes look like, $72k sounds like a decent deal.

Kenley said:I had the feeling that sales of '05 XLRs had slowed down here in the Washington D.C. area. When I bought mine, the dealer (Lindsay Cadillac) had four on their lot; now, they're down to just one (which means they've sold two within the last month or so). Don't know who bought them, as I've still seen only one other XLR on the road around here (which is absolutely fine with me . . . I love being exclusive!).
Skyline? Fer cryin' out loud, I live in the Bailey's Crossroads area! Haven't seen YOUR car on the streets . . . the only other XLR I've seen was a black one, cruising down 14th Street in Washington.Eyedoc said:Kenley - Got mine at Lindsey too, April 2004. It is Crimson Pearl.
I work up the street at Skyline.
