I agree. I saw the passion red. No passion. In fact, terrible. Cheap. It has a yellow/orange component which cheapens the car. The purple...awful. Cadillac should look at he SL color offerings or the choices available for the BMW 7 series, some of which are rich-looking and worthy of a vehicle in this price range.

And what about MP3 integration? The more I look at the car, the more I believe that the Corvette is the better deal. Has everything. Great looks. +$20 k less and most certainly, better resale.

Also needs a better dash. The current one looks too 90's.

I love the car, but, could do better.

Here is a link to a photo of the Platinum Edition--I've read several reviews that say the color looks great on the car. I'm anxious to see the color in-person, before I rate it:

The more luxurious interior of the Platinum Edition sounds great, too. Remember, Mercedes charges a premium for its "Designo" editions. This special edition appears to be a nice complement to the V-Series, if they're also considered a special edition.

Oh yeah, remember all the famous Cadillac purples of the '50's, '60's and '70's (i.e. Heather, Mountain Laurel, Wisteria, Chateau Mauve Firemist, Amethyst, and others--these could be featured in one of those ads showing the evolution of the brand!)
