Hi I'm new to this forum.

Last week I purchased a 2005 XLR through Ebay I'm in WA. state and the car is in TN.
It is steel blue with 8300 miles on it. I'm having it shipped by DAS they'll pick it up Wednesday the 5th so I will get it within 14 to 21 days.

Any thoughts from all of you XLR experts will be appreciated.arty

One thing I was wondering about is a direct IPOD hook up. I have a CTS and I did a hook up on that through the XM reciever any experience on that?

I do the IPod through an FM modulator. Wish it had a direct hookup like my Nissan pickup.

There is a direct hook up available on ebay. Sounds pricey but does a lot:

Ipod in a 2006 XLR ??

Does the 2006 XLR have a direct Ipod connection?? Any help will be appreciated ..

Unfortunately, no -- and none of the aftermarket hacks for other GM head units you may have heard about apply. Grab an iTrip and a pad of that sticky-rubber iGrip to hold on to it - I've had reasonable results with the iPod, charger, and transmitter in the center console... in the desert, where there aren't any other stations!
