After lurking here for about 8 months I took the plunge. Dealing with Mr. XLR, Allen, we made a deal on a new V. Other than one in Champaign IL, I am about the only other one in central Illinois that I know of.

Infra red/ebony. It turns lots of heads. This is a weekend driver and will not see weather or many miles. I keep it tucked away in the hangar most of the time.

So far all is perfect.

Congratulations on your new V, you're going to love it!

If you've been following the posts on this forum, you know that of the total of 1,147 V's produced for 2006 only 58, or 5%, were in the Infrared/Ebony combination. While I don't have the final numbers yet for 2007 production, you can pretty well rest assured that you have a truly unique vehicle.

Everyday people come up and ask about my V and it turns heads everywhere I go.

I returned to my former employer to take care of some business. I contract them for some work and I've been gone for about 2 years. I rolled up in the V. One guy came out and said "Mr. Leonard, You have my attention!"

It was just cause of the car! So Cool...

Cadillac Tech,
Yes. I am coming down with Cubbie and Larry, then on to Mt Vernon and join with Ben, Galen, and Chad. There is a caravan coming from the Indy area that you should hook up with.

Looking forward to meeting you all.
