they need more colors and come up with a third red, I don't get it.
there's also the platnium series that offers a 'liquid amethyst' color ....appears to be a dark blue.
I see no mention of XLR-V changes..... or the XLR-V period! WTF?

love that atomic orange for the vett:thumbs

On page 52...

...of the brochure, page 53 of the PDF.

One tiny mention of the V. No details at all about the Passion Red package. If GM follows ther precedent (Neiman-Marcus & Star Black editions) it will probably only apply to the XLR and not the V. But I'm speculating.

I agree, 1_XLR. Three reds? But if it is similar to Victory Red, or Torch Red in a V, they have my attention.

since the passion red and the platnium edition both mention 18" wheels, you can expect it won't include the V.
The V is not even mentioned in the overview like it is with the CTS and STS....it's that secretive advertising they do!

I think a lot of Buyers in th eexpensive car category dont keep cars longer than 3 years. If they wanted a new XLR they dont have any new color choices. I still cant understand why there is no Navy Blue - did anyone see the versio Brian Wilson did for charity? it was gorgeous!

Hans,
I fear the worst on these types of "to good to be true" deals. This probably is, "send me a deposit and I'll get the car". Gee, where did he go George, where did he go.
