When one has the premium warranty am I suppose to get new updated nav dics even though it s a 2004 and Im not the original owner as part of the free one time a yr maintance package? The cost of a brand new nav cd is almost the cost of a Garmon that can be used in every car? Jim F

I've got an 05 XLR, but of course the Nav Disc is rev. 04. I was hoping to obtain the newest version some time soon, but just wondered if all future years are all compatable.

My area has a lot of growth and new roads are being cut on an increasing basis, I sometime find my map showing me apparenly driving across open fields.

Any suggestions of a good, inexpensive source for new Nav DVD (i.e. ver. 7)?
What discs work in the XLR Nav System?

Ken, I have an 05 and got an 06 disc from Jamsto but it still doe s not show roads fully build and lined with homes in 05. Also, when I go up to my summer place on the weekends it quits giving me turn by turn dierections when I pull onto a Coutny road that shows and has been there since the early 1900's but does know when I have arrived. Most Garmins are better but we are stuck with the GM discs.

Nav disc

Elfred, The dealer thinks Im suppose to get a free update? I will know more on Tue when we go there to get the Keys and cylinder changed in my Seville. The chip in the ignition is worn! I know there is a bi-pass using a resister at the bottom of the steering column but then it disables your security system. Jim
