OK, I'm a newbie to this forum and I just bought my XLR. I live in Smithville, MO. Which is close to Kansas City. I just drove to ST. Louis Wednesday the 30th and picked up the XLR, the 31. My wife and I then drove down to the Lake of the Ozarks and spent two days down there. As we were coming home from dinner Friday night, a guy hangs his body out the window and said "Hey Dude! Bad a$$ car! What is it!" We got a good chuckle out of that. We hope we can go also. We are busy people but will try to go. Great site! Galen and Leinda Haddock

Two XLR's in Smithville

Hello Galen:

Surprised to find out there's another XLR in Smithville, Mo. I purchased my new Steel Blue XLR from Van's Cadillac approximately a year and a half ago. Just seats in my garage on 132nd Street (house on hill with grass airstrip in front of it) with only 1600 actual miles on it. I believe Glen Finch of Smithville also had one and sold it. Great minds think alike. Stay in touch,

Thanks,
Bob Dunham

XLR's

Bob, I know one of your brothers! He comes in my wash all the time. I just talked to him last week and said you had bought one. I was going to call you but have been out of town. He said you were working on a project at Tablerock Lake. Have you thought about going on the trip in Aug. Bob? Also I have heard that Glen is not doing well. He has stage four cancer.:( Glen is a good friend. I'll give you call.
