My Cadillac dealer told me there is an attractive new color of Blue for 2008 Model Year XLR's (both V-Series and Regular). It is called 'Elektra Blue Tintcoat.' He did not yet have the paint sample. Has anyone seen it? It will be offered with Interiors in Ebony Leather or Cashmere with Ebony Trim and Burlwood. The Red color (metallic) is also new for 2008.

My wife saw that color and decided that her 2006 StarBlack will probably have to be tradedin on that one. It will also have a heated steering wheel in 08.

Are the above all of the colors that will be offered?? I still like my Xenon Blue.

I am hoping they upgraded the cabins and added some more HP

Greetings XLR I FL,

I have heard that Bluetooth and Heated Steering will be added to the 2008 XLR. I have not heard anything in regard to the XLR-V.

I have just upgraded my 2005 XLR with the Analog to Digital Onstar systems and Navigation Disk with Antenna replacement. The upgrade in the Onstar is noticeable and Voice Recognition is upgraded. In the Navigation upgrades there are screen enhancements that include CD/XM controls with that map display concurrently. If this feature was available before, I could not find it.
