LETS SAY YOU PROGRAM YOUR TRIP TO SAY BG AND THEN MAYBE AN HOUR OUT YOU DECIDE TO WATCH A DVD FOR AND HOUR, WILL YOU LOOSE ALL OF YOUR PROGRAMED NAV INFO AND NEED TO RE-ENTER IT? OR WHEN YOU PUT THE NAV DISC BACK IN AFTER THE MOVIE, WILL THE COMPUTER PICK UP THE DIRECTIONS WHERE IT LEFT OFF.:rolleyes

Thanks Bob, I was hoping not to try it as time is of the essence this next week but I guess I might need to do that. But ya I was thinking thats what might happen too. jim

My 04 has no problem with this. After I start a trip and program it and get tired of CD's, I pop in a movie. When the movie is over, I put the NAV DVD back in and, when I press the "I agree" soft key, voila! I'm totally back on track with the navigation! :thumbs

EXCELLENT. I would have guessed otherwise.

It's simple enough to check before a big trip (now that I know how to get a movie to work) by doing it around town, but still good to know without trying it.
