Thanks so much for the welcome. This is my first ever brand new car. I've always had pre-owned prior to this one. My wonderful husband talked me into it when I took it for a test drive to his place of employment. I actually thought he would talk me out of it.

He said I've made sacrifices over our 20 year marriage and it was time to take care of me and get something nice that I wanted.:cheers

Standby, that was funny! I was a little intimidated by the car when I first got it and he "had to drive" it the first few days. I've offered many times for him to go ahead and take the car to work, but he says "nope, it's YOUR car." :yesnod

But when we do go somewhere together, I usually let him do the driving. He has a 2002 Chevy Silverado pickup that he picked out for his brand new vehicle in 2002, so he's still happy with his choice. In Colorado, having the 4-wheel drive helps immensely. If the family needs to go somewhere, that's the vehicle we take (we have an 18 year old son). Otherwise, weather permitting, we take the XLR.

Thanks, again, for the welcome fellow board members. :thumbs
