Thats an ugly looking engine without the plastic (or aluminum) cover:puke Looks otherwise cool though:cheers
Well, the LT-1 is no beauty queen without its covers either. I am surprised there are not side covers for the rest of the stuff under there. That motor looks more like an LT-1 then a Northstar are you sure thats not the new C6 Vette motor with a Cadillac cover??

They haven't put an LT-1 in a Corvette since 1996. The (non-Z06) C5 went with the LS-1.:D
I wish they would have used the LS-1 engine. It is superior in sound, power, looks, MPG, torque, and just about any other way you want to mesure performance. It is also smaller and lighter not to mention cheaper and there are tons of aftermarket parts to bolt on. Cadillac used the Z06 in the CTS-V, I don't understand why they did not use it in this car and then supercharge it for the XLR-V. I just don't understand them sometimes.
