Well, I just screwed up big time. Backed my '05 XLR into the garage backwards, with the trunk up and punched a hole in the third taillight lens. The light still works but does anyone know where I can get a replacement other than a Cadillac dealer?

Actually, there isn't enough money in the world to make me trade in my wife. Now about that brake light - the lowest price I've found is $208 - anyone know of anything less?

I think thats a trick we all have to learn is not put up the trunk with those low garage doors, cause it hits. That price sounds reasonable for the third light.

Hey I bought my low milage 04 magnetic red XLR for my wife for our anniversary! I asked her if she wanted a shiny new Vette or a slightly used cadie xlr ! She said honey you know Im a cadillac babe!

The lens cost seems cheep by comarisson to other lenses. You should see the prices for Porsche parts! Go buy it for several reasons. #1 Its the proper lens, #2 it will be in perfect shape #3 less time wasted to find a deal you will later be sorry about! jim

Okay - thanks for all of your help. now maybe I can give you a little. I found the third brakelight - OEM on the following website. I saved about $50 after the shipping charges were added.
