I got my new lower grill in and I want to replace it. I thought this was going to be a snap fit type of situation, but it appears that the OEN version needs to be unscrewed from behind.

I have an 05 XLR base.

I have searched the threads for instructions, but none to be found. Does anyone know how to replace this?

Thanks,

Sully

The service manual says you must remove the whole front fascia to access the screws, but, if you're only replacing the OEM one with an identical one, you may be able to remove the 2 panels (one on front of the adaptive cruise and the twin next to it - they pop off with a screwdriver) and access it from behind them.

Like Rich said you can remove the two lenses and reach through the openings and remove the 7mm screws. The 2 at the top are the toughest to get to and remove. If you can get a helper, have them pull out on the front fascia while you remove the screws with a 7mm racheting wrench.
