Just got back from the LA auto show. They had an infrared V XLR on the floor. Since I own a 2006 XLR, the floor boss let me all over it. Popped the hood and got a real close look at the engine, even took a good picture. I learned that they deleted the radar cruise control, added adaptive headlights and included suede like leather on the insides of the door. He was shocked that caddy let their $100K car on the floor for people to crawl through and over. They also had a black regular old XLR on the floor too, with the top down. Since they are only making 500 of the V's, he said they are being marked up to around $120K by most dealers. I liked the 19" wheels, they had a black cadillac emblem in the center versus the normal cadillac logo. I am going to try to buy the black logos for my wheels. I have now had my XLT for 5 months and I'm still luvin it. I get a kick when the valet guys don't know how to get out of it after they get in.

So if you want to get a real upclose and personal look at a XLR-V, get yourself to the LA autoshow. Should run for for another week. laautoshow.com

That It!

Great pic! That's the one. I think they will have to sell it for a deep discount after all the kids with dirty and sticky hands get done touching it. Now, if I can just get the performance codes from an insider. hhmmmmm

Just a few corrections to your post. That infra red V has been trailered from one place to another and isn't even able to start, no drive shaft or things you can't see are not in the car. The shell is plastic not fiber and the first real one rolls off the assembly line in Bowling Green this month.
They have uped the production to 850 and will probably go even further. Anyone paying more than $100,000 for the V would be in the nut case category. My V is being delivered in March and is costing me MSRP:cheers
