Does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for hydraulic top cylinders for a 2005 XLR?
There is a company called Top Hydraulics in Portland OR that rebuilds them and other components as well. They also have many internet tutorials covering just about every function regarding the removal and replacement of these parts. If you are handy, and pay attention; you can remove the leaking cylinders and ship them off to Klause at Top Hydraulics. Do contact him by phone for estimate price and turnaround of parts.

I did this on both my main cylinders. Couple a/c orings and they work perfect. The back seal is the one that usually leaks and this is an easy way to fix that. I ended up taking the Teflon seal off the shaft piston and had to go to a local hydraulic shop to order that. Should not have messed with the piston seal but when I was at the hydraulic shop he would've changed all the seals but the wiper and top seal were perfect. They're made of a different material than the back seal that leaks all the time. Saved hundreds... Not me in the video lol
