My 06 V will shake the hood when going over a bump, like RR tracks. It probably does not move much, but the low angle of view and the large flat reflective surfaces probably amplify the effect. Allignment is good with even gaps and heights.

Although this is cosmetic, it gives the impression of lack of ridgidity amd firm attachment. My STS and pickup truck are solid as a rock going over the same tracks at the same speed

Has anyone else noticed this or am I being overly critical?.

Looking forward to seeing you all in BG.

You have seating adjustments that need to be turned up. Put something on those adjusters that will transfer a mark to the hood if it is touching. The ones that don't transfer are the ones that are to low and are allowing the hood to bounce..Or let the dealer do it.

I think Bob (Standby) is correct. Those little adjustable bumpers (sometimes round) may not be turned up enough to give your hood support. I usually put a dab of white grease on each one and close the hood to see if they are turned up enough. If they are touching the hood the grease will be squished flat. Good luck with your adjustments. :cheers
