Hold divider in place with space age bungee's

Hey guys and gals,
Isn't this ridiculous to have to hold the divider in the trunk secure with bungee's, just so you don't have to get out of the car and open and shut the divider every time you want to put the top up or down?

somethings not right. I have no issues with mine. I wonder with added use if that wears out? Do you only have the XLR? I only drive mine for fun and drive my other Caddy most of the time.
I've had trouble from day one. Simply shorting the sensor leads took care of it.

By the looks of it, I'd say that trunk is not getting too much use!
I'd have them replace the clips for starters......

I haven't moved the divider more than twenty times, except for lately when I have to open it and close it to get the top to work. I think they are going to order a new divider and maybe look at the sensors that someone soldered together on their car. I'm afraid to do that for fear I would put something in that space and then try to put the top down.

Never had a problem with mine... unless something got caught (e.g. jacket) in between the divider post and the clip.
