Heritage Of Ownership Medalion

Received this cute box from the dealer where my XLR was delivered.

Inside is a beautiful oval Medalion with mounting instructions to install it on the Grille with all mounting instructions, etc. with a separate insert with #8 with the instructions on how to place it on the medalion.

With a certificate #053134.

Now, what does #8 mean?

What does #053134 mean?

Can anyone tell me?

Thanks a bunch!

How many Cadillac's have you owned? Maybe 8?
I've had mine for some time now, unfortunately there is no place to mount it to the XLR so it just sits on my desk. This my fourth Caddy.
So, you don't get this until your second Caddy?

You are rigth about the Medalion. I had at list 8. I am not going to mount mine either.

Had the XLR now over year and half & no problems what so ever.

Happy new year to all of you.

Hey! Where's mine?

I've had five:

91 Deville (used)
91 Allante (used)
99 STS (new)
04 XLR (new)
05 Escalade (new)

No medallion :cry
I got my medallion (someplace in the garage) and the XLR is my first! :rolleyes

I didn't get a medallion with my brand new xenon 05!

Me Too!

I didn't get one either, but I did get the hard back book about the XLR being born by John McCormick. I even went to the company in southern California that did a lot of the design work. If memory serves me, I think they even built one and then Cadillac re-designed or improved it.
I didn't get the hard cover book, either.....but I did get the car for $3,500 off msrp........

Glad to see someone is smart enough to nogtiate. Book came in the mail about 3 months after I bought. It's really quite nice.
Now that hurts...

Congrats on the new XLR. And I do love the Xenon as you can see from my photos. With the discount no less...

Can you post some photos?

Where in the country are you? I'm curious about where the discounts are occurring.
Dealer in Marion Indiana is selling the car for 71.3, delivered to your door. It's Xenon.
I bought it in Brewster, NY, for 73, as we wanted to deal locally. The car is gorgeous.
I had a signal lamp go out in the left front yesterday.
