WOW, lighten up a little. First of all, it's not silver, it's platinum and all the pics weren't platinum. I'm sorry you don't like that color and I agree with you that 3 colors is ridiculous and two interior colors. All the car companies are doing two color interiors which really do look cool, but what did Cadillac do? Give us suede, which wears very badly, so look for the seating to be changed out quite frequently. I've tried very hard to be positive even though I'm lemoning my 04. If I where always negative, I probably would cancel my 06 V

They call it platinum but the pics do not represent real life color at all. In real life its silver and on the web its an extra cool looking platinum.

You dont think they should show pics of the 3 colros the car comes in for 100k?

Oy ya you forgot to add no blue tooth for 100K also.

In real life platinum is platinum, In fact it's a very flat based paint with no flake. Yes it is silver in color but lacking flake. I own a platinum so I guess I would know.
Go to Cadillac.com and they do show the three colors, not very well, but they are there.
I don't understand why your beating this V to death, is it because your not getting one? So there's not blue tooth, big deal. Granted, I think the car is over priced. If they were to ask $1.00 more for it I would pass.

You have to remeber that the Corvette is the flagship of GM for Speed. GM made the error twice of making other lines of GMs faster (GNX and Turbo TA ) and the Vette took a hugh hit. So GM will not make its other cars faster than the Vette. On the flipside of that you wouldn't expect the vette to have the same quality of leather as the XLR and it dosn't.

Having owned both, the difference in the quality of the leather is minimal; same as fit and finish. In fact, the window indexing works better on the Vette than is did on my XLR and when you open the trunk water does not drip into the trunk. The XLR is a great car, but the entire concept of the "V" series (0-60 in under 5 seconds) is highly overrated since so many other products are capable of that feat.

I see your point and you are correct - I'm just a bit puzzled by the GM's attempt to bridge that gap.
