Got a question, thought I'd run it by you guys to see if there's a problem with my heated seats.

With my Infiniti, the heat came from the seat bottom. With my XLR, it seems that all the heat comes from the seat back (not the seat bottom).

(Seriously, now!) Is the heat supposed to come from the back only, or should I expect a warm feeling from the seat bottom?

Allyn, the heat coils are in the back and bottom of both seats, try the passenger seat and see how that works. Tim

Regarding your question on the venting in the seats, Tim was correct, the venting is in the cushion as well as the seat back. It is not htd/cooled by any type of wired heating element like other vehicles. It uses a ceramic disc that is either positively or negitively charged. When this is done the disc either will heat up or get very cold, then air is blown over the disc and passed through the seats vents.

Yes, Both the seat cushion as well as the back rest are Htd/Cooled. The 3" fan will direct air though the interior of the seat.
