I had one of the running/turn signal lights replaced yesterday. When the service manager brought it back out, he showed me where the plastic lens over the bulb was melting from the bulb heat.

He was expecting a new headlight assembly made by a different manufacturer to be available soon and said he would put it in when they get them.

Seems like a GM problem. At least 25% of late model GM's have a running light out which also affect the turn signal.

Duh . . . I had this same problem. After a couple of trips to the dealership to resolve this, it appears the problem has been fixed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
