Here are two pics of Harry's E & G Grille. I think it looks great.

Harry, buy the V hood and some V badges, supercharged badges and you got an 04 mock V. As fast as you drive know one will no the difference. I also think that is a fake statue of you.

Bob, thanks for posting the pics, I owe you a big drink when I´ll see ya in June for the XLR rally:cheers
Hey, you know I will keep my 85% V:lol when the export XLR V realy is limted to 155 mph, as you know mine runs top speed around 180 mph.
Yesterday, while I made a high speed run to check my V grille out I found my car is very fast up to 150/160/170 mph - imagine how you fly to 155 in the real V:yesnod
No proplems with the open mesh grille at any speeds. I have the V badges on mine since my last US visit in august, didn`t I told you?

Grill

Harry,
You were having some trouble installing the grill. You said you might have to have it installed because you were having trouble with the bottom clips.
Did you have to take it in to have it installed or were you able to install it your self?
How long did it take them? What did they do that you could not?

Nice looking grill.:thumbs
I am thinking of getting this grill but there is also a chromed grill that looks like the stock painted one the car now.

Hi Blaise,
that was a kind of hard work!!!
For my son and me it tooks almost 5 hours so I would say put it in a body-shop.
These clambs (tabs) on the bottom of the grille you cannot get out of the sluts so after about 2 hours on trying to get it out I drove to a near body shop and they told me we have two ways to get the grille out:
1. if we wont brake the grille the have to mount the front bumper with grille of the car which takes about 1 hour
2. it takes about 5 minutes to brake off each tab but the grille would be not usable anymore - so I decided # 2 and the grille was out.
So I went home where my son was waiting and we had about another 2 hours of work till it was copletely mounted.
The big problem is to remove the stock grille!!!!!

I´ve seen the chromed grille on the XLR "star black edition" it`s nicer then stock but the V grille looks much better, sportier and no noise or airflow which affects hood or something. Yesterday I made a high speed test-drive (very high speed) and the hood was sitting by doing 270 kph totally stable.

Hope I could help a little

Harry
