the color of the new STS is the same name "thunder gray" but it`s a different color code and it`s darker than on the XLR.

I have a good friend who owned a limo service in Stuttgart and used Caddies--they really stood out around town. Your cars look great but don't you get grief from the Mercedes crowd? I found that my friends in Stuttgart had a real bias for Mercedes and did not like even BMW (I guess cause the Mercedes plant is nearby) Enjoy the Caddies.

Thanks caddiedrummer,
to drive a Cadillac here in germany is really something special. Several times I`ve parked my XLR next to an SL and the people was standing all around my car nobody cares about the SL. They are all good automobiles but when you see many driving around there`s nothing special on them anymore.

In my family we drive Cadillac`s since 89 and they all were great cars so we keep it that way:thumbs

Happy New Year too you

Hans- Great looking cars! BTW- I especially like the tail lights on the STS ... Are those unique to the export model or did you customize it?
427,
the taillights are standard for the export model and take a closer look you`ll see the rear fog lights in the lower part of the bumper, also standard.

BTW 427 is a good name, in the mid sixties this was my favorite engine on Chevy`s (Impala or Chevelle) but the 389 of the GTO was good too also I remember the 409 cubic inch.

Hans- I did notice the rear fogz (which do add to the impressive look), but those tail lightz are fantastic!

BTW- My username of 427 comes from my '66 Corvette. Itz a blast to drive and I enjoy the sound from the barking sidepipes. :D

Yes ... Thatz mine in the photo I linked. I bought a silver XLR to be a "twin" to the '66 Vette. This summer, I'm hoping to take a scenic picture with both vehicles ... Hardtopz up and then down.
What a great car , I´m looking forward to see the pics of your twins sometime this year:yesnod
